Come In, Ask Questions, Start Moving

Our coaching staff are on the floor during all staffed hours — walk in or reach out and we'll point you to the right plan.

We Reply Within One Business Day

House of Boston keeps its contact simple: one email address monitored by staff Monday through Friday, a direct phone line answered during staffed hours, and walk-in availability whenever coaches are on the floor. We don't route inquiries through a chatbot or a call center — the person who answers knows the gym floor, the class schedule, and the membership tiers in detail. If you're unsure which membership suits you, describe your training history and your nearest specific goal in an email and a coach will reply with a concrete recommendation, not a brochure. The front desk is staffed from 07:00 to 13:00 and 16:00 to 20:00 on weekdays. Outside those windows, leave a message and expect a response the following morning.

I emailed on a Wednesday afternoon not really knowing which plan to pick. A coach named Derek replied Thursday morning with a three-paragraph breakdown based on what I'd told him about my schedule and my squat numbers. That kind of response made me trust the place before I'd even walked in.

Before You Visit — Common Questions

Do I need to make an appointment to visit the gym?

No appointment needed for a walk-in tour during staffed hours. A coach or front-desk staff member will show you the floor, answer questions, and walk you through the membership options. If you'd prefer a private tour outside peak hours, email us to schedule one.

Is parking available at the gym?

Street parking on The Alameda is metered until 18:00 on weekdays and free on weekends. Side streets to the west of the building are unmetered throughout the week. We do not have a private lot, but most members find a spot within a two-minute walk consistently.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Training shoes, workout clothes, a water bottle, and a photo ID for check-in. We provide chalk, a foam roller library, and all equipment. Towels are available at the front desk for a $1 suggested donation per session while you sort out your routine.

Can I train here if I'm recovering from an injury?

Yes, with appropriate clearance. We require a brief written note from your physical therapist or physician outlining any movement restrictions before your first session. Our coaches are experienced at programming around common injuries and will not push you into movements your provider has flagged.
