Athlete mid-deadlift on the House of Boston training floor

A Gym Built Around Progress

Most gyms sell access. House of Boston sells outcomes. From the moment you walk through our forest-green front doors into a cream-walled training floor, every element — the programming, the coaching staff, the equipment layout — is arranged around one question: what did you improve today? We track member benchmarks every 90 days so the progress never stays abstract. Whether you're a first-time lifter learning the squat rack or a seasoned athlete chasing a personal record, the environment here keeps you accountable without making you feel judged. San Jose has no shortage of gyms. We're the one that keeps a record.

Four Pillars of the House of Boston Method

Strength-First Programming

Our floor programs are built on progressive overload — the principle that consistent, measured increases in load produce the most durable results. Coaches adjust your plan every four weeks based on logged performance, not guesswork.

Coached Every Step

Every membership tier includes at least one monthly form check with a certified coach. We don't let bad habits compound over months. Early correction is the cheapest performance upgrade you'll ever get.

Classes That Fill a Real Gap

Our group schedule covers morning metabolic conditioning, lunchtime mobility, evening powerlifting — and nothing in between that's just filler. Each class has a specific adaptation target, not a vague burn-calories mandate.

Benchmark Tracking Every 90 Days

Members complete a short fitness assessment on joining and every quarter after. You'll see your back-squat one-rep max, a timed mile, and a grip-strength score improve in black and white. That record is yours forever.

I joined House of Boston in January weighing 198 lbs and not being able to deadlift my own bodyweight. By my 90-day benchmark check I'd pulled 225 lbs and dropped to 184. The coaches logged every session with me — I never had to trust the process blindly because the numbers were right there.
